What Are the Different Tiers?

There are two subscription tiers available for Czepeku Tokens:

• Monster Catcher ($4/month) gives you access to the entire catalogue of existing tokens and 20+ new tokens every month. With this subscription, you can customise the shape and colour of the token’s frame.
• Gallant Ranger ($9/month with the pre-launch subscription) gives you access to the entire catalogue of existing tokens, 20+ new tokens each month, and unlimited customisations with the Token Builder. With this subscription, you can change the colour of any element of the token and choose between a variety of accessories (animals, hair, clothes, weapons,…). Try it for free here! You also get a say in what tokens will be created next by voting in polls.

What Does Pre-launch Mean?

Czepeku Tokens is at the moment in a pre-launch stage: you will not be charged for your subscription until launch in a few weeks (Early September 2024), but if you sign up right now, you can enjoy the massive 66% discount for the highest tier! If you activate your subscription before launch, you will always pay only $9 for the Gallant Ranger tier as long as you stay subscribed. If you subscribe post-launch, the Gallant Ranger tier will be at $14/month, and its price will increase over time to $28/month as the token catalogue grows. Note that if you subscribe pre-launch but then cancel your subscription at some point after launch, you will not be able to use the discounted price again.

Note: This does not affect the Monster Catcher tier, which will stay at $4/month.

How Does the Monthly Subscription Work?

When you subscribe to Czepeku Tokens, you will be charged the full price for your tier, and your subscription will be active for a full month. For example, if you subscribe on the 15th of April, you will be charged on the 15th of April and your subscription will be active until the 15th of May, when you will be charged again for a new month (May 15th-June15th).

What Happens If I Change or Cancel My Subscription?

If you cancel your subscription, you will have access to Czepeku Tokens until the end of the billing cycle since you have already paid for it.

If you upgrade your subscription from Monster Catcher to Gallant Ranger, you will pay the price difference proportional to the days you're subscribed as Ranger. For example, if you subscribed on the 1st of April to Monster Catcher, then on the 20th, you upgrade to Gallant Ranger, you will be charged immediately for the upgrade. However, you will only be charged for the equivalent of 10 days of Gallant Ranger (the total depending on the price of this tier at the time).

The same principle applies if you downgrade from Gallant Ranger to Monster Catcher: your bill will reflect the number of days spent as Gallant Ranger and Monster Catcher. Note that you will be charged immediately for your Monster Catcher subscription, but you will receive a credit on the next billing cycle if needed.

Will the Token Subscription Be Available on Patreon?

The tokens subscription will only be possible on czepeku.com, as access to the Token Builder would be impossible to manage through Patreon. Eventually, the other Czepeku projects (fantasy maps, sci-fi maps, and scenes) will also have a subscription available on czepeku.com but the Patreon project will continue to exist.

Can I Use Paypal to Pay My Subscription?

Yes. Currently, PayPal and card payments through Stripe are available payment methods.

Will It Be Possible to Buy Individual Tokens or Packs of Tokens?

There is no current plan to provide one-off purchases, but this could be possible in the future.

Is There a Commercial License for the Tokens?

Nothing is written at the moment.
